A character-based story to encourage movement and exploration
Bold explorer
Tries new ways
Virex liked trying things a little differently.
When the ZigZag creatures
reached a wide puddle in the
middle of the path, everyone stopped.
Some suggested turning back.
Others wanted to wait until it dried.
Virex bent down and looked
closely. “What if we go around?”
they asked. No one had thought
of that.
Instead of stepping straight
through, Virex tried a side path
around. It wasn’t far.
Just a few careful steps along the
edge where the ground was firm.
It worked.
The puddle didn’t disappear.
The trail didn’t change.
But the way through became
clearer because someone was
willing to try.
Virex wasn’t the fastest.
Or the loudest.
Virex simply liked experimenting.
If one way didn’t work, they adjusted.
If a rock blocked the path,
they stepped over it.
If balance felt tricky,
they widened their stance
and tried again.
The other creatures began to
notice something. Trying new
ways didn’t feel scary.
It felt interesting.
From then on, whenever
something seemed tricky or
different, someone would smile
and ask, “What would Virex try?”
Because bold doesn’t mean
rushing ahead.
It means being willing to explore.
And that is how the trail kept growing.
ZigZag on.
