A ZigZag Creature adventure that builds confidence and creativity

Sparks Energy

Gets Things Going

Cindlet was small, but the trail

never felt small when they were

around.

Wherever they stepped,

something seemed to wake up.

One gray morning, the forest felt

heavy. The sky hung low, the

creek barely whispered, and even

the birds hesitated before singing.

The other creatures shuffled

along the path, waiting for the sun

to warm things up or for someone

else to begin.

Cindlet felt the slump too.

It was the kind of feeling that

makes your shoulders droop

and your feet drag. For a moment,

they almost waited like everyone

else. Instead, they bounced once.

It wasn’t dramatic.

It didn’t shake the trees.

But it was movement.

They rolled their shoulders back

and stamped one foot firmly into

the earth. They drew in a deep

breath through their nose and let

it out slowly, steady and strong.

Warmth began to build in their

chest. Not from the sun

— from inside.

They bounced again,

a little higher this time.

The creek picked up its chatter.

A bird tested a note. A breeze

slipped between the trees as

if curious about the change.

The energy hadn’t been missing.

It had been waiting for a spark.

The other creatures blinked.

“How did you wake up the trail?”

they asked.

Cindlet smiled.

“I didn’t wait to feel ready,”

they said, “I moved first.”

From that day on, whenever the

trail felt slow or stuck, no one

stood around hoping motivation

would appear.

They created it.

Because sometimes the spark

isn’t something you find.

It’s something you discover.

ZigZag on.
