Soft beach trail with wild grass, wind, and drifting clouds in the horizon.

A fun ZigZag character to spark creativity and movement

Figures it out

Aveloo never walked anywhere.

Aveloo glided.

Even when they stood still,

you could feel it — like the air

around Aveloo was practicing

tiny stretches.

One afternoon, the wind

showed up loud. Not the soft,

whisper kind. The kind that

rattles trees.

The kind that makes you

question your plan and maybe

go get ice cream instead.

The other trail creatures

ducked behind rocks.

“Too much,” muttered one.

“Not today,” said another.

But Aveloo stepped forward.

The wind pushed.

Aveloo leaned.

Aveloo widened his stance,

lifted their arms like wings,

and breathed in slow through

their nose. Inhale.

The wind shoved harder.

Exhale.

Aveloo didn’t fight it.

Didn’t freeze either.

Aveloo adjusted.

One foot rooted down.

One arm reached forward.

Their back leg stretched long

behind it like a steady tail of

courage. It wasn’t trying to win

against the wind. Aveloo was

learning from it.

After a while, something changed.

The wind was still strong —

but Aveloo wasn’t wobbling

anymore. It was moving with it.

The trees stopped shaking so

wildly. The trail grew quiet.

The wind finally softened and

slipped away.

The other ZigZag creatures

peeked out. “How did you

stop it?” they asked.

Aveloo smiled. “I didn’t stop it,”

he said. “I stood in it.”

And from that day on,

whenever the wind came

roaring down the trail,

the creatures didn’t hide.

They widened their stance.

They breathed.

And they remembered what

Aveloo taught them — you

don’t have to stop the wind.

Sometimes you just have

to stand in it.

ZigZag on.
